The Prism of Belief Diamond is one of the most valuable Unique Jewels in Path of Exile 2, obtainable only by defeating the game’s most challenging boss at the highest difficulty.
While incredibly rare, it isn’t universally useful like Against the Darkness. However, for the specific builds that benefit from it, Prism of Belief is a game-changing item. Even players who don’t need it for their own builds can find great value in acquiring one. A high-roll variant with a desirable Skill can range in price from 1-2 Divine Orbs to hundreds, making it a sought-after item in the game’s economy.
How to Get Prism of Belief Diamond in PoE 2
The Prism of Belief Diamond is a rare and exclusive drop from the Arbiter of Ash at Difficulty 4 in Path of Exile 2. As the game’s most challenging boss, the Arbiter of Ash features brutal one-shot mechanics, overwhelming damage output, and extremely limited windows for dealing damage. Only the most skilled players will have the chance to claim this coveted item.
Where to Find Arbiter of Ash
To challenge the Arbiter of Ash at the Burning Monolith, players must first gather three Crisis Fragments—Iron, Copper, and Stone. These fragments can be obtained from the corresponding Citadels scattered across the Atlas. While Citadels spawn randomly, players can locate them by navigating through the fog of war toward the towering beams of light that pierce the sky.
How to Unlock Arbiter of Ash At Difficulty 4
To unlock the Arbiter of Ash boss fight at the highest difficulty, you must defeat him multiple times at lower difficulty levels. The first time you defeat the Arbiter, you will earn 2 Arbiter Skill Points in the Atlas tree. Use these points to unlock the ‘+1 to Arbiter Difficulty’ upgrade. Each subsequent victory grants another 2 points, allowing you to increase the difficulty further. Repeating this process four times will raise the Arbiter’s difficulty to +4. Only at this maximum difficulty level will you have a chance to obtain the coveted Prism of Belief Diamond.
Warning
Unlike every other pinnacle boss fight in PoE 2, players will get 6 attempts at defeating the Arbiter of Ash. However, the number of respawns goes down as players progress in boss difficulty tiers. At Difficulty 4, you only have one attempt at defeating the Arbiter of Ash.
How Does Prism of Belief Diamond Work in PoE 2
The Prism of Belief Diamond is highly sought after in the ultra endgame due to its substantial impact on damage output. It boosts the level of key skills by up to +3, which can lead to a massive increase in DPS, especially when combined with other sources of +Skills. This stacking effect can create incredibly powerful results.
Take the Spark Sorceress build in Path of Exile 2 as an example. By equipping a Prism of Belief Diamond with +3 to all Spark Skills in a Jewel socket, along with a Staff that provides +7 to all Lightning Spell Skills, and corrupting the level 20 Spark Skill Gem to level 21, the Spark spell reaches an astonishing level 31. This is before considering passive skills from the skill tree, Amulets, or Rings, making the potential for damage output even higher.
Note
The Prism of Belief Diamond will always drop pre-corrupted. You cannot use any currency on it to reroll its values.
How to Solve Prism Belief Diamond Not Working in PoE 2
Some players have reported not seeing any changes in their DPS when inserting a Prism of Belief Diamond into a Jewel socket. This issue occurs because Path of Exile 2 only updates the DPS calculation when transitioning between zones. To view the updated DPS value, simply teleport to a different area and check your stats again. The correct value should be displayed after the zone change.
